1988-1990 5.0L:

-Tach signal is at electronic engine control (EEC) connector, pin #4, dark green wire with yellow stripe. This wire also goes through a 22K ohm filter resistor to the instrument cluster and to the TFI ignition module.

-Switched 12 Volts is at electronic engine control (EEC) connector, pin #37 or pin #57.

-Ground is pin #40 or #60 (or just tie to chassis).

1991-1993 5.0L:

Tach signal is at electronic engine control (EEC) connector (C294), pin #4, tan wire with yellow stripe OR at instrument cluster connector (C250) pin #11.

1994-1995 5.0L:

-Tach signal is at instrument cluster connector (C251) pin #7, tan wire with yellow stripe. This wire comes from the ignition control module (ICM) through a isolation resistor, connector (C115), pin #5.

The wire from the ICM (non isolated) also goes to the coil.

-If installing the Raptor dual mode shift light, connect the white wire of the shift light to the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) signal from the ECM connector (C294) pin #3, gray with black stripe. The VSS signal can also be connected at the instrument cluster, connector (C250) pin #12, gray with black stripe.

-Switched 12 Volts (red wire of shift light) can connect to any of the "B+" pins on the instrument cluster connectors. All B+ wires on the instrument cluster are red with yellow stripe

-Ground (black wire of shift light) can connect to the frame of the car or at instrument cluster.
