Raptor Shift Light Install-GTO

2004 LS1 GTO: tach wire is at PCM, brown wire, green plug-pin #10. Red wire from shift light to orange wire/switched Ignition-blue plug-pin #19. Black wire from shift light to torx bolt under coolant reservoir for chassis ground.

Set shift light "cylinder setting" to 4 cylinder mode (2PPR)

Alternate Connection:

There is a plug under the dash just forward and to the left of the clutch peddle.

Tach wire: Brown wire (Pin 25)

Switched Ignition: Orange wire (Pin 8)

If installing the Raptor dual mode shift light, connect the white wire of the shift light to the Vehicle Speed Sensor (Vss) output signal from the PCM  connector (pin # 3, purple wire with white stripe).

 


2005-2006 LS2 GTO: tach wire is at PCM, on C1 (Blue Connector) Pin #48 (Brown wire with red stripe). This wire travels from the PCM to the instrument cluster connector (pin #27).

The PCM is located on the left side of the engine compartment attached to the strut tower.

Set shift light "cylinder setting" to 4 cylinder mode (2PPR)

The IPC also has ground (pin #17, black/yellow wire) and power (pin #31 brown/white wire) tie in points.

If installing the Raptor dual mode shift light, connect the white wire of the shift light to the Vehicle Speed Sensor (Vss) output signal from the PCM  connector (pin #21, purple wire with white stripe).
